Video tracking, computer vision and applied biomechanics to identify injury mechanisms and improve athlete welfare and performance in elite sport.

First-class or upper-second-class undergraduate degree, or international equivalent, in sport science, biomechanics, computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline. A relevant Master’s and experience in analytics, programming, machine learning, statistics, video or performance analysis are desirable.

Three-year full-time funded PhD providing Home (UK) tuition fees and a tax-free stipend. International candidates must pay the international tuition-fee top-up.
